MY STORY
My name is Gabriela Lobo and I am the proud daughter of two incredibly selfless and hard-working people. I mention this because at the core of everything I do, I reflect back on the foundation of values that my parents have instilled in me. These simple yet essential lessons include unconditional kindness, impartial fairness, and patience yet persistence.
I am dedicated to making this magnificent world we live in just a little bit brighter through my positive personality, my commitment to inclusivity, and my responsibility to evolve into the best person I can be, both professionally and personally.
I am a Marketing Coordinator at Cumulus Media, Inc. where I help bring marketing campaigns come to life with maximum efficiency. Clients range from local companies to large corporations who use our platform to implement their strategic marketing campaigns. Additionally, I help execute NTR (non-traditional revenue) events to strengthen brand loyalty and retain our current listeners as well as acquire new listeners. This experience in the media and entertainment industry has prepared me with a unique perspective of both sides of marketing media implementation.
I received my bachelor's degree in Marketing with a minor in Communication from Florida State University in May 2020. Graduating in the middle of a pandemic, national civil unrest, and arguably the worst collective year in recent history has equipped me with notable skills for a successful career. These include refined communication and problem-solving skills, an emphasis on being flexible and adaptable, as well as, pushing my limits with creative and critical thinking. I feel as if I have gained the emotional intelligence of a tenured executive due to the heavy amounts of introspective thinking and personal development 2020 gave me the time to do.
Allow me to add value to your Marketing team with my creative ideas, analytical and detail-oriented mind, and my solid education and experience foundation. I am confident that I can be an asset to any company whose values align with mine and whose company culture are compatible with me.

MY INTERESTS
Theatre
My first experience with live theatre was when I performed a minor role in a rendition of Hansel and Gretel as a child. In high school, I was reintroduced through Theatre classes and fell in love with everything that goes into live theatre. I joined the International Thespian Society and even competed at the Florida State Thespian Festival my senior year. I still love theatre today, but as an audience member now. My favorite musical is (still) Hamilton and I was lucky enough to see the traveling tour perform at the Straz Center in Tampa in 2019! I cannot explain how happy I am to now have the entire show at my disposal with Disney+! Theatre has been an integral part of our society and telling stories is who we are, I strongly believe that everyone should have access to it.
Traveling
Recently, I discovered my love for traveling. Throughout my childhood, my family and I never left Florida, let alone the country. In the summer of 2019, I was able travel out the country for the first time in my life to visit Tokyo, Japan! Spending 3 days at the Tokyo Disney Resort and then the rest of my trip exploring the streets of Tokyo truly was a dream come true. Later that summer, I was blessed enough to join my parents on a trip to their home country, Honduras! Meeting my grandma and many family members whom I have never met before was very special and that is a trip I hold close to my heart. I can’t wait for my next adventure when it is safe to do so!

Education

I have always had a passion for learning. As a child, I used to beg my parents for math practice books, as I just could not wait to apply what I learned in class. When I began my courses for my Marketing major, it felt quite ridiculous how excited I got over understanding new concepts and identifying the companies I am so familiar with, demonstrate these lessons I learned. I wish to continue to learn more about marketing and several business functions as my professional life develops. After I graduated I felt a little lost without a structured curriculum, so I took the time to teach myself how to use Adobe programs like Photoshop, Illustrator, Indesign, as well as some of their other apps like Premiere Rush and Spark. Through this I found a passion for digital art and graphic design, there are so many more things to learn and passions to be discovered! I will always be a student of life.
